Upon entering this community, the façade design does not go unnoticed. The inviting colors, timber framing and natural surroundings emanate warmth to create a cozy, intimate feeling. Once inside, that same feeling continues throughout due to the creative and thoughtful design. Stroudwater Lodge is a full-service senior living community where independence is “treasured.” The community is situated on a gorgeous, quiet, Maine-wooded campus with the hubbub of downtown Portland community minutes away. The beautiful outdoor setting helped lead the design of a Maine lodge structure and interior that complements its neighbors, as well as blends beautifully with the natural environment. The community offers a variety of private studio, one-and two-bedroom apartment styles with beautifully detailed kitchens, many with patios and private balconies overlooking the tranquil maples and Maine birches. The innovative design and independent philosophy shines through from the outdoor patio to the private dining area to the relaxing sunroom. The 90,848 square foot community offers a fun, eat-in tavern and dining room, a gourmet kitchen, a comfortable theater, a salon for hair and nails, a brain gym, as well as a gym for keeping seniors active, along with beautiful paths surrounding the lodge for walking and enjoying the great outdoors. The community is nothing short of a wonderful self-sufficient home where the residents’ needs are met within the campus, only moments away.
