Gawron Turgeon Architects designed a 12-unit skilled nursing addition to a CCRC that we had originally designed over 15 years ago. St. Andrews Village was the first CCRC in the State of Maine that incorporated Nursing Care, Memory Care, Assisted Living and Independent Living all on one campus.
As the model of care for seniors has evolved over these past 15 years, St. Andrews Village has started to adapt their community to accommodate the increase in skilled nursing care and rehabilitation programs. This new addition provides private patient rooms with private baths and showers and a new state-of-the-art Physical Therapy gym. A residential-style servery and dining area will allow the staff to provide high quality meals for the residents while they and their families can relax in the Café/Bistro and Sitting Area with a fireplace.
